I am very excited to be part of the Bella Vita family and I look forward to growing with a great team as we care for your family members.
I bring over 35 years of experience working with geriatric and dementia residents. I have been a licensed nurse for 28 years with specialization in elder adult care while pursuing lifelong learning in education.
During my time in healthcare, I have worked in many skilled, sub-acute, hospice, and assisted living facilities that have given me a wide range of experience with senior adults. I have found assisted living is more gratifying in sharing time with the residents to provide lasting positive effects for their retirement years.
After working in large facilities, I am really enjoying the smaller community and getting to know your loved ones as extended family members with our team. I feel the slower pace and home environments are the essential key to providing the best care possible
Executive Director - Co-Owner
Laura's career started 30 years ago in the financial and real estate industry. She began in sales for a SW regional mortgage bank and worked her way through the “corporate ladder” to achieve an executive VP position.
Laura is so excited to be able to apply her 30 years of professional experience in both sales and marketing as well as motivating her staff to provide the very best care to our residents.
Since 2015, Laura has been the primary care partner for her wonderful mom with mid stages of Alzheimer’s dementia. Laura is experiencing firsthand the challenges of caring for a loved one and helping her to grow old gracefully. This role has precipitated the desire to pursue opening a residential assisted living home. As the Executive Director of Bella Vita Assisted Living & Memory Care, Laura plans on implementing much of what she has learned from her “on the job training” and to ensure that all residents will experience the very best environment and loving home at Bella Vita.
On a personal note, Laura loves sports and playing Pickleball (everyday!). She has 3 wonderful sons and 2 grandsons close by. Laura says, “having grandchildren is everything grandparents say it is and better."
Mark became interested in starting Residential Assisted Living homes after having his mother live with his family for over 10 years, experiencing firsthand how difficult it could be to age gracefully without the proper family support. “I feel lucky to have spent so many years with her close by and cared for by myself, my wife and three daughters.”
In creating Bella Vita Residential Assisted Living facilities in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area, Mark hopes to help his tenants feel that same love his mother did while receiving exceptional care.
Mark enjoys traveling, playing pickleball and doing yoga with his wife Sylvia. They also enjoy watching their daughters grow into successful and kind adults while starting their own families and careers.
As a RALS™ (Residential Assisted Living Specialist), Mark has earned the highest level of professional certification in the industry.
As a small business consultant in the healthcare field, partners with practices to ensure they achieve their strategic and financial goals.
In April 2018, Jessica and her husband welcomed their daughter Nina to the family. While searching for a day care facility for their new daughter, Jessica noted an interesting parallel to finding a trusted residential assisted living facility. As she searched the web, looking up licenses, reading hundreds of reviews, and interviewing a dozen childcare facilities, she realized this is exactly what her potential residents and their families will be considering when selecting a home for their loved one. She is committed to helping potential residents and their families feel the individual attention and care she has experienced in the search for her daughter’s childcare.
Jessica’s family enjoys traveling north to Lake Tahoe during the winter to ski and frequenting the local lakes over the summer to explore the outdoors.
